We understand that you may have a lot of questions regarding hydrospeeding so we have gathered the most common questions we get asked.

Booking FAQs

How do I change my booking?
If you need to change your booking for any reason, please email [email protected] as soon as possible and we will try our best to ensure that we can change your booking to suit both parties.
I have to cancel my booking. What do I need to do?
If you need to cancel your booking, please email [email protected].
As per our booking terms and conditions all cancellations must be made by email no less than seven days prior to the event start date to receive any refund.
Your refund will consist of any payment made minus the £20 per person per activity non-returnable deposit.

Do I need to bring anything?
We provide you with the best safety equipment available to keep you warm so all you need to bring is a towel and have your swimwear already on when you arrive. Full information will be included in your booking confirmation and you can always get in touch if you’re still not sure.
What time do I need to arrive?
To ensure plenty of time for your safety briefing and to get kitted out, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your activity start time. Full information will be included in your booking confirmation and you can always get in touch if you’re still not sure.
What happens when I’ve made my booking?
Once your booking has gone through, you will receive an email confirmation with all your booking details as well as some useful information you may need. If you don’t receive this email soon after completing your booking, please check your spam folder and then contact us if you still don’t see anything.
Are my card details safe?
Yes 100%. Our site has a secure SSL certificate and we use an industry leading payment system to ensure that your payment details are encrypted. We also never store any of your payment details on our site.
How do I pay for my booking?
Once you have confirmed your booking and are on the checkout page, you can add your billing details and securely pay via credit or debit card. We accept the following credit or debit cards.

- Mastercard
- American Express
How do I book hydrospeeding?
Once you have found your chosen date, a pop up box will appear asking you to confirm your name, contact details and the number of guests attending.
Once you have added this information, press the yellow ‘Book Now’ button and this will take you through to our secure cart page where you can review your booking, read our terms & conditions and proceed to our secure checkout page.
How do I check availability?
Once you are on the Go Hydrospeeding page, tap the blue ‘Book Now’ button. This will take you to a page with an availability calendar where you can see which dates are available. You can also scroll to the bottom of the page to see an availability calendar.

I want to learn how to teach hydrospeeding. Can you help?
We deliver three hydrospeeding courses aimed at providing you with the skills you need to guide safely and effectively while maximizing your client’s experience.
How many people can take part in one session?
Currently the maximum group size is 20.
I’m not a great swimmer. Can I still try hydrospeeding?
Being able to swim is a bonus but not a necessity to enjoy the thrill of hydrospeeding. Our experienced guides will look after you.
Can children try hydrospeeding?
Yes, as long as they are 7 or older. We have had many children take part in our hydrospeeding activities and they all seem to have an incredible time!
Can anyone try hydrospeeding?
Anyone from the age of 7 years can try hydrospeeding.
Where can I try hydrospeeding?
We mainly deliver our hydrospeeding adventures from at High Force waterfall in the North East but we offer bespoke hydrospeeding sessions across the North of England, including Yorkshire and the Lake District in Cumbria. If you can find a suitable location, we can run a hydrospeeding session for you!
What do I need to wear?
Arrive with your swimwear under your clothing and we will supply all the necessary safety equipment to keep you safe and warm.
How safe is hydrospeeding?
Very safe! Under the guidance of our professional staff you will be shown all the necessary skills you need to stay safe on the river.
